As an IT System Administrator (f/m/d) at our headquarters in Immenstadt im Allgäu, you will be part of the Administration team, which with its diverse range of tasks forms the backbone of our company. This is where all processes for planning, control, administration, documentation and cost accounting of Outdooractive come together.

Your new job at Outdooractive entails

  • Responsibility for the system administration of the existing IT infrastructure (highly available server, storage and backup systems) and its capacity planning
  • Implementation of installations, adjustments and maintenance of standard software
  • Management of WAN/LAN/WLAN infrastructure including firewall, VPN, virus scanner and spam filtering
  • Management of a VMware environment (ESX) and client/server environments based on (mostly) Windows - including Active Directory with Group Policies, Exchange Server
  • Managing the Active Directory and Exchange environment with Powershell
  • Backup, archive, recovery and firewall management (Fortigate and Sophos)

What Outdooractive expects from you

  • Completed information technology studies or comparable vocational training and possibly additional training as MCSE / MCSA
  • Several years of professional experience as system administrator
  • Comprehensive know-how in Windows servers, Exchange Online, MS SQL, MS Office 365 and Active Directory
  • Good command of written and spoken English
  • Ability to work in a team, strong communication skills and high commitment
