Pixelpoint/dataCycle from Austria are the new partners of the Tourism Technology Alliance (TTA)

The alliance of leading tourism platforms continues to grow on an international level. TTA members Outdooractive, neusta destination.one, infomax websolutions, land in sicht, General Solutions, and Digitize the Planet welcome the Austrian provider of digital tourism solutions, Pixelpoint, with its data management system dataCycle, as new partners. This allows customers of Pixelpoint/dataCycle to easily exchange their data with other partners of TTA members in the future.

The Tourism Technology Alliance was founded in 2022 by the largest tourism platforms to enable easy data exchange between platforms and to standardize data structures so that tourism data can be distributed unhindered. Since then, individual, laborious, and error-prone interfaces between database systems are no longer necessary, and tourism destinations can synchronize their data between their accounts in the systems with the push of a button. Technical barriers are reduced, and all stakeholders in tourism are interconnected at the operational level. More and more leading platforms are joining the alliance, and the network of tourism data platforms continues to grow steadily.

Outdooractive CEO and TTA founding member Hartmut Wimmer is delighted with the success and international development of TTA: “With Pixelpoint/dataCycle, we have another important partner on board to expand the TTA data standards and to bring us closer to the goal of data unification with unhindered data exchange.”

Johannes Zlattinger, CTO of dataCycle GmbH, is also convinced of the newly formed partnership. “With the system, a standard for the exchange of tourism data has been created. For the benefit of destination customers and end users, who thus have access to the official data from the original sources in the destinations through many channels,” says Zlattinger.

The Tourism Technology Alliance will continue to be built internationally to have all relevant companies in the tourism industry as partners in the long term.
