For more than 30 years, Outdooractive has been helping outdoor enthusiasts to enjoy their outdoor experiences to the full with its comprehensive web and app features and unique routing technology – from ambitious hikers to hobby skiers, from weekend mountain bikers to professional riders. Outdooractive connects a global community and works with almost 5,000 industry experts such as tourism organisations, guides and trail managers to provide reliable tour suggestions and make officially recognised content easily accessible. Through our B2B platform, which distinguishes 15 different sectors in tourism, we build the alliance of officials and enable valuable interaction between our outdoor community and the offer of the officials.
To make our product development even better, we are seeking feedback from the most experienced and qualified users of Outdooractive – both from our community and from our partners – the Outdooractive Experts.

News & Updates
Since their official presentation at the Outdooractive30 anniversary event in June 2024, the Outdooractive Experts have been actively working on the further development of the platform. At the first digital meeting, the experts shared their experiences and provided valuable ideas for optimizations to make the application even more seamless for both end users and business partners.
One highlight was Hartmut Wimmer’s review of the past few months and the presentation of future projects. Particular emphasis was placed on the non-profit association Digitize the Planet, which is dedicated to the digitalization of nature conservation rules, and the planned founding of European Trails e.V., an organization to support European trail managers and protect Alpine infrastructure. The exchange will continue in 2025: the next digital meeting is scheduled for the end of February.
