Outdooractive is seeking a Chief Sales Officer (CSO) with the expertise and passion to drive our global growth and strengthen our market position sustainably. In this key role, you will report directly to the CEO and oversee the strategic and operational leadership of all B2B sales activities. Together with your four teams of experienced sales and business experts, you will actively shape the future of Outdooractive.
Your new job at Outdooractive entails
- Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and implement a visionary B2B sales strategy to expand into new markets and maximize revenue potential.
- Team Leadership and Development: Lead and grow a team of approximately 20 talents across Inside Sales, Sales, Account Management, Partner Management, and Customer Success.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with national and international key accounts and strategic partners.
- Performance Management: Ensure the achievement of targets through KPI-driven performance monitoring and regular reporting.
- Process and Efficiency Optimization: Streamline sales processes and structures, including the introduction of digital tools to enhance efficiency.
- Market and Competitive Analysis: Continuously monitor market dynamics to identify and seize new opportunities.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Product Development, and Customer Service teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.
What Outdooractive expects from you
- Proven B2B Sales Expertise: Demonstrable success in international B2B sales, preferably in the technology or platform sector; experience in the tourism industry is a plus.
- Strong Leadership Skills: Experience in leading and inspiring teams, fostering a performance- and growth-oriented organizational culture.
- Analytical and Strategic Thinking: Ability to analyze complex market demands and translate them into actionable, innovative strategies.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Confident presence across all organizational levels, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to connect internal and external stakeholders.
- Pragmatism and Hands-On Approach: Proactive and solution-oriented mindset with a readiness to provide operational support when necessary.
- Technological Acumen: Experience in selling digital products or services is highly desirable.
- Language Skills: Fluency in German and English; additional languages are a plus.
