As a Data & Reporting Analyst (f/m/d) at our headquarters in Immenstadt im Allgäu, you will experience first-hand how the Outdooractive platform grows every day with the aim of being the largest outdoor community in the world. The B2B Digital team is responsible for the digital sales pipeline and is therefore the point of contact for Sales and Customer Success, as well as Finance & Controlling. You are the contact person for the KPI-based management of our business and take care of data provision, development and analysis. Through the reports and analyses you create, as well as the development and tracking of KPIs, you enable the perfect management and optimization of our resources.

Your new job at Outdooractive entails

  • You will support our team in data analysis and generate valuable insights for the entire company.
  • You will independently set up an internal reporting and control system.
  • You will design, model and implement reports in our BI tool (PowerBI).
  • You will evaluate customer behavior and the short-term and long-term success of sales-promoting measures both online and offline.
  • You will also support the departments internally in making decision-making processes more data-driven and simplifying them.
  • You will use advanced analysis tools and implement them independently or in collaboration with our data engineers.
  • You will be responsible for the planning, implementation and monitoring of data-driven projects.
  • You will work closely with the Controlling, Development, Sales and Product Management departments.

What Outdooractive expects from you

  • You have a degree and have already gained some experience in the areas of Business Intelligence & Data Science.
  • You have good knowledge of SQL & Python and want to keep improving and learning new things.
  • You already have some experience in software development and are willing to familiarize yourself with software development topics (GIT, Gitlab, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.) and continue your education.
  • You have very good knowledge of relevant BI tools (e.g. Power BI and Tableau).
  • You have basic knowledge in the field of statistics and ideally also experience in using web analytics tools, such as Google Analytics.
  • You think digitally, "out of the box" and are a real problem solver.
  • You have strong analytical and conceptual skills.
  • You think holistically and integratively and are also characterized by a hands-on mentality.
  • You are a team player - responsible, independent and detail-oriented.
  • You communicate confidently in German and English.
