As Sales and Partner Manager Trail Organizations (f/m/d) you are the first contact person for all questions regarding trail management. You are the Business Type Owner for our Business Type "Trail Manager" and part of the Customer Success and Sales Team in Immenstadt (Allgäu) with a home office share. The Customer Success and Sales Team looks after our business customers and is their first point of contact. This is also where offers are developed together with our customers in order to use our marketing services and products profitably for the customer.
Your new job at Outdooractive entails
- You are responsible for the acquisition and support of existing and new customers in the field of professional trail management, trail and infrastructure maintenance, planning and marketing.
- You will act as a consultant for tourism destinations, cities, municipalities, associations, rangers and all organisers of trails and long-distance paths.
- You are the internal and external business type owner and "first point of contact" for our business type "Trail Manager": https://business.outdooractive.com/trail-manager.
- You will be responsible for the further development of our products for customers from the professional trail management sector.
- You will develop new sales and service strategies and workflows and implement them independently in close cooperation with the sales management.
- You will create target group-oriented product and training material and develop training concepts, which you will also manage and implement operationally.
- You look after our trail management customers, both in the digitally supported day-to-day business as well as on site and at training courses.
- You identify the needs and wishes of our customers and communicate these to the team.
What Outdooractive expects from you
- You ideally have relevant experience in the professional planning, maintenance and marketing of trails and trail infrastructure.
- You are familiar with the Outdooractive app for end customers, plan your own tours with it, are enthusiastic about it and enjoy explaining it to your counterpart.
- Ideally, you bring industry-specific relationship networks within professional trail and infrastructure management and are skilled in opening and maintaining customer contacts.
- Ideally, you have specialist knowledge and/or practical experience in dealing with geodata (GIS), geoinformatics, surveying and/or cartography and have already implemented initial projects with official geodata.
- You are flexible, willing to travel, communicative, self-confident and know how to inspire others.
- You have a high passion for outdoor sports and innovative technologies.
