COO Chief Operating Officer (f/m/d)

We are looking for a Chief Operations Officer (m/f) to join our team to achieve our strategic goals and further grow our organisation. You will report to the CEO and work closely with your colleagues from Products, B2C, Business Solutions and People & Organisation. You will lead various teams with a total of around 40 talents from the areas of Sales, Marketing, Community Management, Content Management, Internationalisation, Customer Services, Business Development and Partner Management.

Your new job at Outdooractive entails

  • Taking full responsibility for all revenues generated from marketing, sales, existing customer care, resellers and partners internationally.
  • Comprehensive budget, cost and deadline control and reporting.
  • Additional responsibility for organisational development and support of our growth course.
  • Relief of the managing director and founder as well as participation in content-related, strategic and operational matters in order to accelerate the company's growth.
  • Targeted focus on optimisation of structures and processes, support of own designed processes as well as appreciative, motivating and success-oriented management of employees.
  • Responsibility for promoting young talent and employee loyalty and transferring our own entrepreneurial mindset into a role model function.
  • Active consolidation and international expansion of our existing B2B and B2C customer base.

  • Keeping a cool head even under the highest workload, identifying the right priorities and acting in a structured manner.
  • Strong analysis skills, enjoyment of conceptual work and the desire to deal intensively and in depth with various work topics.
  • A varied skillset, paired with analytical, content-related and strategic as well as operational activities.
  • An outstanding energy level and exceptional work efficiency.
  • Experience with sales, marketing, scaling businesses and leading teams.
  • Very structured way of working and an exceptionally quick grasp of things as well as a sense of urgency.
  • Positivity, problem-solving skills, proactivity and professional demeanour at all hierarchical levels.
