As Head of UK Sales (f/m/d) you are part of the Outdooractive UK Business Solutions Sales team working remotely in the UK. Outdooractive is Europe’s leading digital platform for outdoor tourism, working with thousands of destinations and with millions of consumers every day. The Sales team is the first point of contact for our customers from the tourism, outdoor and publishing industries. This role focuses on providing our Business SaaS solutions and digital marketing solutions to clients in the UK tourism and outdoor industries - connecting them to our global consumer audience. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in selling to or working with Destination Management/Marketing Organisations or similar organizations.

Your new job at Outdooractive entails

  • Identify and acquire new customers from the Tourism industry, in particular destinations and destination marketing organizations.
  • Identify and acquire new customers from the Outdoor industry, in particular gear brand OEMs and distributors.
  • Build and develop good relationships with customers and partners.
  • Identify customer requirements and provide solutions from the Outdooractive SaaS platform product and our marketing product portfolio.
  • Develop and independently implement new sales strategies in direct cooperation with the UK management and our worldwide sales team.
  • Provide regular reports and forecasts on performance, activities and target achievement.
  • Lead and manage our existing UK Customer Success Management.
  • Travel to see UK clients and attend events; overseas travel to headquarters in Germany for training and twice-annual company conference.

What Outdooractive expects from you

  • You have sales/business development experience combined with analytical skills and an eye for detail.
  • Experience in selling into the travel industry or tourism industry.
  • Ideally you will have relationship networks from the outdoor industry or tourism destination industry.
  • Experience in selling marketing or advertising services, or
  • Experience in selling digital SaaS platforms to B2B clients, or
  • Experience in selling into the outdoor industry, notably to gear OEMs.
  • You have a passion for outdoor sports and innovative technologies.
  • You are flexible, willing to travel, communicative, self-confident and know how to inspire others.
  • You have a good command of written and spoken English. Other languages - especially German - are an advantage.
  • You are someone who is driven, passionate about sales, and committed to achieving results.
