Outdooractive supports the Christmas Trucker campaign
Companies have a social responsibility. At Christmas in particular, there is an increasing need for social commitment and doing good. Every year, the Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe e. V. encourages a joint relief campaign, in which Outdooractive is again actively involved: the Christmas Truckers.
For many years, thousands of children, company employees and many others have been packing aid packages for people in need in South Eastern Europe during the pre-Christmas period. Year after year they set a sign of charity and hope. Outdooractive has also joined this tradition along with its team.
“This encourages the employees to work together in teams and to express their own willingness to help. We have consciously decided to support the Christmas Truckers with this aid project, because we know that our aid actually reaches the people in need, because the Johanniter themselves take the parcels with the Christmas Truckers there. The bottom line is not what you do and how much it costs, but that you do something. Taking on social responsibility should not only be expressed during the Christmas season, but it is always a good time to stop and do something for others,” says Hartmut Wimmer, CEO and founder of Outdooractive.
The parcels can still be handed in at numerous collection points until 16 December. We would like to thank all Outdoooractive employees in advance for their help. We hope that we will be able to send numerous parcels on our way again this year.
