The new webcam layer: real-time insight into conditions on site
The new additional layer Webcam Map Layer offers your guests inspiration at times when they cannot be on site and strengthens your relationship with your guest. The webcams can be activated via the map or are automatically displayed in the context of a tour, POI or planning. Already around 50,000+ webcams from windy.com have been added worldwide.
Webcams whose data have been current for 2 hours are displayed in green. Those whose data are between 2 to 6 hours old change their colour to yellow and webcams without updates for more than 6 hours are shown in grey on the map.
The layer is optionally available for all our B2B customers of the Destination and Regio products. In the cases of Data API & FlexView API, a static webcam image is shown.
More design options for your website – New “Gallery” page widget
There is a new design element for our destination customers. With the additional page widget “Gallery” you have the possibility to present impressions from your region. You can choose between different variants of the gallery display and stage your pictures individually. In addition, the integration of logos and banners has been optimized.
Currently available on the web, the integration in the app will follow shortly.
Easier creation of your locations in Trail Management (Facility) with the new function My Map in Business
In cooperation with the Thüringer Toursimus GmbH, we are further developing our Trail Management (Facility). From now on, the function “My Map” is available for all our business users (except Free Business Account). The creation of locations is facilitated by the display of e.g. tourist routes via “My Map”. Furthermore, the advantages for personal planning already known from the platform can now also be used via Business. For the use of “My Map” on the platform, an additional Pro or Pro+ membership must still be available.
The update of the Business app will follow.
Even more flexibility in the creation of individual routes
Just as our community members have the ability to crop recorded tracks, this feature is now available to our B2B customers.
This feature gives them more flexibility in creating routes that they want to publish.
