Lecture Hartmut Wimmer at the eTravel Lab
Founder & CEO of Outdooractive, Hartmut Wimmer, will give a lecture on the topic “The Digital Destination” in the eTravel Lab beyond the discussions at the booth. With more than two decades of business experience, Hartmut Wimmer is a pioneer in the digitization of outdoor tourism. In his lecture, he will highlight the need for action for destinations and tourism organizations. He will also use a practical scorecard to illustrate the steps that need to be taken and implemented by the players involved.

Round Table “Visitor Guidance in Destinations – Analogue and Digital”
On September 18, 2018 the 1st Round Table on this topic took place within the framework of the Outdooractive Conference, initiated and carried out in cooperation with the BTE tourism and regional consultancy PartG. Due to increasing outdoor tourism and the resulting conflicts, it is necessary for all participants to find common solutions. The topics and problem areas of the first round will now be dealt with in depth and further elaborated at the 2nd Round Table. Discussion will take place in German – participation is by invitation.
