The app was released last year based on a technology for Android devices and an update for the iOS version is now available and ready to be downloaded from Outdooractive’s partners in the store. We will be looking at some of the advantages of the DMS app in this feature.

The VIR Online Innovation Days took place between June 25 – 26 in Berlin and the subject of sustainability in the tourism sector was a major focus of the event. Outdooractive’s CEO, Hartmut Wimmer, took part as a speaker and delivered a keynote speech on the subject of ‘Sustainability through digitization in destinations’. This article looks back to a couple of insights.

For the second year in a row Outdooractive was on site as a partner: At the DestinationCamp, which took place from May 22 to 24 at the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce, representatives of the tourism industry met to exchange views and ideas on challenges and developments. Data management, machine learning and artificial intelligence were important core topics. After the joint discussion, results and solutions were presented.
