We are delighted to announce that Outdooractive has acquired mountNpass, France’s market leader for cycling tourism. Whilst mountNpass will maintain its brand identity, this latest step in Outdooractive’s journey represents its effort to develop its product line and market its services to a more international audience.
It is with great pride and pleasure that we can now announce the shortlist for the 2020 Outdooractive Awards. These partners of Outdooractive showed high commitment and dedication to generating content on the Outdooractive platform. Their important contribution inspires millions of outdoor enthusiasts. Given the current situation and the cancellation of the ITB, the awards ceremony has been postponed until further notice.
ITB Berlin, the leading trade fair for the global travel industry, will be taking place from Wednesday, March 4th to Sunday, March 8th, 2020.

At the turn of the year we entered the 20s of the 21st century. Does it mean a real change of times like in 1920s, which saw everything from high culture and the Golden Age to the Great Depression?
2020… what an awesome number for a year! We will not see another one like it until 3030- that is another 1010 years from now! And we are once again back in the 20s, which was a decade of the last century that was very much regarded in the history books as being golden. So apologies for my infectious enthusiasm and optimism when I wish you much health and happiness for 2020.
I think my optimism does not stem just from the magic of the year itself, but also all the new possibilities that Outdooractive has planned both for you and the furtherance of the tourism industry.
As part of the digital world of Bosch eBike Systems, the eBike Connect portal has been hosting content from Outdooractive since December 2018. The eBike Connect portal allows e-bikers to plan their routes, transfer them to the Nyon on-board computer and then record, evaluate and share their own activities online. Routes from Outdooractive are available for download in the “Erkunden” section. Frequent updates to the eBike Connect app combine with up-to-date content from Outdooractive to bring a new level of connectivity and comfort to e-bike fans.
